Dan Levy, Jodie Foster to Receive Emmy Awards Governors Tribute

Television Academy Announces 2023 Special Honorees

Los Angeles, Calif.

The Television Academy announced today that Dan Levy and Jodie Foster will receive the Emmy Award for Governors Tribute at the 75th Emmy Awards.

The award recognizes Levy and Foster for their outstanding contributions to the television industry, both on and off the screen.

Levy is a Canadian actor, writer, producer, and director best known for his work on the Emmy Award-winning sitcom Schitt’s Creek, in which he starred as David Rose.

Foster is an American actress, director, and producer known for her work in films such as The Accused, The Silence of the Lambs, and Nell.

The Emmy Award for Governors Tribute is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the television industry through their work and service, both in front of and behind the camera.

Some past recipients of the award include George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, and Steven Spielberg.

The 75th Emmy Awards will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
